TOUGH CHALLENGES FOR LANDING TESLA CARS IN INDIA

    We all know that, Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with $269 billion worth. Tesla is the biggest company in the world in the production of Electric Cars. 

    The ultimate aim for every business men is to explore their business, but for Elon Musk there are lot of challenges to land his electric car Tesla in India.

QUESTION FOR ELON MUSK

    One Technology Enthusiast asked Elon in Twitter about the arrival of Tesla cars in Indian sand. He replied that there are lot of challenges to introduce Tesla cars in India.

    This reply had created controversary, we didn't know what he actually coming to tell, is he coming to mention about the corruption?, like this there are lot of questions are arose in the Social Media.

INDIAN STATES INVITED TESLA

    Indian states like Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal, Telangana invited Elon Musk to start the production of electric cars in their states. 

    It will be easy to start the production of electric cars in Tamil Nadu, revealed by Tamil Nadu government. Like wise many states are willing to welcome Tesla Cars.

TAXES FOR IMPORTING

    Actually taxes are very higher than our expectation. There is 60% tax for the car worth Rs. 29.73 lakhs and the tax will be 100% if the price more than Rs. 29.73 lakhs.

    The lowest price of Tesla car is Rs. 33 lakhs, after the taxation in India, selling price of Tesla car will be Rs. 70 lakhs. For this reason Elon requested Central Government to reduce the taxes.

HOW ABOUT THE MARKET IN INDIA

    Actually, there is the low market for electric cars in India. As per report, there are only 5000 cars are sold in 2021. Lack of charging the battery also the main reason for this.

    As per the report of Bloomberg, 75% of the cars sold in India were under Rs. 7.5 lakhs, but the starting price for Tesla car is Rs. 70 lakhs, it's a major drawback for Tesla Cars.
